Re: gone to the dark side

Stacked taking my dog for a run Wednesday:
He propped at full-pace; wrenching the bars.

Lateral-sideways forces exceeded rim-limit:
Failed, causing fall; it's full-on forces though.

The front-wheel collapsed & fully locked-up:
It sent me over the top; I landed on bar-end.

Now noticed/felt; I've snapped a Rib in half:
I truely-am getting too old for these antics.

I haul arse down a local footpath; MTB.
It's hairy; cruel trees; if botched slalom.

The front-skips; under-serious braking.
Centre of gravity; too-high; I'm freaked.

It goes under; an under-pass footpath.
That build-up; via descent; goes quick.

I'd guess; I'd be going @ circa 35 KPH?
I wonder/doubt if a Vor is any quicker?

Edit: I bus my pushbike uphill to home.
It's convenient; practical & also a thrill.
